
G-INews,New Delhi : In a groundbreaking move to blend ancient Indian wisdom with modern management principles, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with eKalakaar. Together, they will launch a first-of-its-kind interdisciplinary course titled “Creative Leadership,” anchored firmly in the Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS).
Bridging Tradition and Modern Corporate NeedsThe 30-hour certificate course has been meticulously crafted following extensive research and consultations with a diverse group of stakeholders, including industry titans, IKS scholars, students, and traditional performing artists. Unlike conventional leadership programs that rely on Western case studies, this course uses traditional Indian performing arts as an experiential medium to build real-world competencies.Course Objectives and PedagogyThe program, hosted by IIT Kharagpur’s IKS Department, aims to move beyond standard classroom lectures.
