GIN, Kanpur : On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) 2025, observed on 3rd December, the Cell for Differently Abled Persons (CDAP), IIT Kanpur, organized a two-day drawing competition on 3rd and 4th December 2025 for school students to promote disability awareness.Students from Classes 1 to 8 across all three schools—Campus School, Kendriya Vidyalaya, and Opportunity School—actively participated in the program. The competition was based on the UN theme for IDPD 2025, and students expressed their creativity through thoughtful and imaginative artwork. Teachers from all participating schools appreciated this meaningful initiative and expressed their support for continuing such activities in the future.The two-day event was held in the presence of Prof. Anubha Goel (Coordinator, CDAP), Mrs. T. Radha (Vice-Principal, Campus School), Mr. Ravish Chandra Pandey (Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya), Mrs. Chetna Mishra (Principal, Opportunity School), and the CDAP office team. Prof. Goel addressed the students, highlighting the significance of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities and sensitizing them towards disability awareness.
