G-INews, Kanpur | February 9, 2026: In a stellar display of creativity and technical innovation,Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU) has secured the First Prize in the ‘Structure Construction’ category at the 57th Provincial Fruit, Vegetable, and Flower Exhibition 2026 held at Jan Bhawan, Lucknow.
The Winning Masterpiece: ‘Shri Krishna’s Flute’
The university’s team captivated both the judges and the public with a grand model titled “Shri Krishna with Flute.” The structure was a brilliant fusion of the Fine Arts Department’s aesthetic vision and the Engineering Department’s technical precision. Crafted using organic materials and vibrant flowers, the model stood as a testament to the university’s commitment to sustainability and art.
Royal Recognition
The prestigious award was presented at Jan Bhawan, Lucknow, during the three-day event (February 6–8). Hon’ble Governor and Chancellor, Smt. Anandiben Patel, graced the occasion and honored the members of the CSJMU team for their exceptional contribution to creative structural design.
