G-INews, KANPUR: January 12, 2026 — In a major step toward integrating cutting-edge technology into school education, the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has launched a special four-day interactive online training programme titled “Enhancing Mathematical Competency through AI.” The initiative, which began today, is designed to help students across the country leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to simplify complex mathematical concepts and improve problem-solving skills.
The sessions are scheduled to run daily from January 12 to 15, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM.Interactive Learning for the Digital AgeThe programme aims to move beyond traditional rote learning by introducing digital tools that make Mathematics more engaging and learner-centered. According to a statement by NCERT on X (formerly Twitter), the sessions will explore how AI can be used as a personal learning assistant to identify gaps in understanding and provide visual remediation.
